I'm having a lovely day today, the phone is busy, I've had visitors and I'm out this evening for a jewellery party. My visitors today came for what I consider to be quite a superior shopping experience! My lovely friend and her Mum came to do a bit (well, quite a lot) of Christmas shopping, and, as is usual with these events, flapjack was provided - and plenty of chat too. If anyone else fancies this kind of special treatment you are most welcome, but please let me know first!
There was a surprising result at the Huntsman & Hounds monthly quiz - our team won, I must admit our four friends on the team helped tremendously, and we won four bottles of vino as well as getting the best quiz food ever! I've been really industrious this week making stock for all the events I have booked - two more stalls booked this week so I'm going to be a tad busy, but that's a good thing. There are loads of new brooches on the website, also a new Christmas Earring section, along with several new necklaces etc. On the downside my lovely Mum-in-law had a nasty fall this week, and is currently in hospital, but hopefully will be going home tomorrow. What is really good though, is how brilliantly the family have pulled together to cope with it all, Dick's parents are lucky to have such a good family to help them out, but I suppose it's not luck at all, they just brought them up very well.
