We have just had an exceptionally good weekend, it started on Friday evening in the Bell at Wortwell where a joyous night was had by all, we have such a lovely group of friends there. We always intend to go down for an hour or so, but I don't think we've ever achieved anything like that, it's normally more like three!
On Saturday we had a great day selling at the Christmas Market in Mendham Church. I have been attending this event for several years now and I love it. It's such a traditional day with a really lovely atmosphere (and the food is exceptional). I'm already booked in for next year and wouldn't miss it for the world.
Yesterday we had a visit from my cousins Richard and Wendy - I had to put a this photo of Richard on because, just for once, he's not gesticulating. We had a lovely day catching up, it was nice to see them at ours rather than at a funeral which is where we've seen them lately. Thanks to Dick for a lovely roast, good man.
Today is an "n the shed making things"day, I have already started on some new fine silver pendants, and am going out to start on some more. It takes a few days to get them finished because of drying, firing and polishing, but I'm hoping to get them on the website by the end of the week. As well as the ones in the photo I have some new styles in mind which I'm going to play with shortly. I will also be making more stained glass - it sold rather well at Mendham, so now I have orders to fulfil. I love my "work"!
