Otto is a very happy boy. This is good news, his favourite toy "Goosey" is back. Goosey had been missing for several months, but has been found under a very thick hedge, and is happily in pretty good condition. Early this morning when I was still in bed, and Otto was keen that I should get up, he found that Goosey still has a squeak, so he kept jumping on it to make it work. That was nice.
We have a wondrously huge Beech tree out on the meadows, and we have noticed lately that there has been some activity around a hole in the trunk, which has obviously been nibbled. Mystery solved - this morning a squirrel was seen going in, and it's my guess that's where most of our hazelnuts have gone! I have put several new items on the website this week, including necklaces, earrings and bookmarks. It is also worth looking in the sale section - I have made some further reductions and have added more items too.
