We're just back from a day visiting my family in North Norfolk, it's always lovely to go there because the food my Aunt provides is excellent (great Shepherds Pie) and you can't beat a bit of family banter. Auntie Barbara is leaning forward in the photo because Marco the cat has made himself very comfortable behind her. Marco doesn't actually live with her, but comes round every day and then goes home to be fed at 6pm, Not a bad life. I couldn't show the photo of my cousin Richard as he was gesticulating in a rude fashion, you can't choose your family. Mind you his wife Wendy chose him, and she's lovely!
It was a windy drive home as storm Doris was being very active, I had taken the photo of one of our plant pots this morning as the little Irises had come out. I dread to think what it looks like now as it was dark when we got home, but it was apparent that some of our pots had gone missing in the maelstrom. It's hard to believe now that I actually had my lunch outside on Tuesday, it was gorgeous (the weather, not the lunch - bread & cheese). I've had a lot of interest in the new sterling silver earrings which went on the site this week, and I know it sounds odd, but they really do look better in real life, it's so hard to get really good photos of silver. Look out for new stock next week, as I'm off to a big bead show on Sunday.
