On Wednesday afternoon I decided I ought to hard boil some eggs for sandwiches to help see me through a very long day in the polling station, I find it's always advisable to pack twice as much food as I think I could possibly need, and I still eat nearly all of it. Anyway, I put the eggs on to boil and then did a little bit of work on the computer and made a phone call, and then went out to buy a fascinator (as you do). I was gone for quite some time. I came home to find that the saucepan had boiled dry, and that the kitchen was full of steam. Luckily the smell of burning eggs had been enough to warn Dick of the problem before the house caught fire. I'm clearly not designed for kitchen work!
The bluebells round here are absolutely gorgeous at the moment, and I find that I go out of my way when driving so that I go past them, you can't beat that colour! My bead deliveries are containing lovely spring and summer colours at the moment, so some pretty things coming soon. Also, you'll find a huge number of new earrings on the website this week, mainly studs but also some very pretty new sterling silver drops.
