What a hailstorm we had on Tuesday! The noise was tremendous and the hailstones were huge. Luckily I had just come in from hanging the washing out - believe me, it would have been far more unlucky had I still been out there! I am still a bit concerned about the Jackdaws who always nest in one of our chimneypots, I haven't seen either parent since the hailstorm, and am keeping an eye out hoping that they return. Talking of birds, the chickens are laying really well, and I have to report that they eat well too. They are so useful as they will eat all those little shopping mistakes we make, this week they're eating the "wrong brand" of luxury muesli, I feel less guilty when they eat it as it's not a waste then!
I had a lovely lunch on Tuesday with some old work friends in Long Stratton, it was great to catch up, and luckily food was involved (just to be sociable). A meeting with friends is always a joy, and so is a scone! I have been putting some new items on the website including bookmarks (again!!) and necklaces. By the way, I'm expecting a delivery of sterling silver stud and hook earrings any day now. If you enjoy reading my blog - and you see it via Facebook or Twitter, please feel free to share it. I read on Facebook this week that people are much more likely to share if you ask - so I am. Thank you x
