We have just spent a wonderful few days in lovely Cornwall - one of my favourite places. Most of our time was spent out and about with Ruth (one of my stepdaughters) - the beaches (we visited several) were a great favourite with Otto who had a very active holiday. We also had a trip to Kennall Vale, where Dick decided to see if he could get behind the waterfall - he did, although he did come out quite damp. We also had our usual trip to St Ives - it's so picturesque and it seems to be the world capital of pasty shops, not a bad thing, and of course we tried some.
We were lucky to have a hot tub at our cottage with a view across the valley, sheer luxury. I did feel that I may have been in for too long yesterday evening though, because Dick came out with bay leaves and Bisto & asked if I was nearly cooked! I got out sharpish in case he turned the heat up to simmer. Due to being away from home I haven't made any jewellery this week, but I have been sourcing new beads including sterling silver earring beads with a natural theme, birds, bees and shells etc, so there will be new stock arriving on the website very shortly!

It was lovely, and we couldn't believe how cold it was when we got home!
