As expected I had a lovely, and expensive, time at the bead show last Sunday. It was well worth going though, because the variety is so good. I still get a bit over-exited with beads, so it's good that Dick comes with me to keep an eye on things! After the show we went to Wivenhoe for a look round, I'd never been and was very impressed, it's a lovely town with an excellent waterfront. Then it was on to West Bergholt for a pub Sunday lunch with cousins and a friend, so all in all a very good day.
Yesterday was a big day for Chickendom, my girls were let out for the first time in a few months, and they had a great time. When I opened the hatch they tumbled out and raced across the meadow like lunatics, and then returned to collect Bella, the thickest hen, who had forgotten the way out of the coop! They then proceeded to enjoy themselves by hopping, flapping and jumping around. I think it may have been their version of sports day! As you might imagine, there are several new items on the website this week. Don't forget that Mother's Day is on March 26th, so get your orders in early. Just as a warning, the website shop will be closed from 20th to 27th March (unless someone fancies running it for a week), so get your orders in before then!
