Is it just me, do other people hear themselves saying things which surprise them? I did this week, Dick has an old tweed cap which is a real favourite, it has for the last few years had a red felt patch over the hole which Otto created when he was a puppy. Well, Dick decided that the red patch had outstayed it's welcome, and my mouth said "shall I darn it for you?" Darn? I'm not at all sure that I've ever darned anything, until now. It's not the prettiest work, but the hat will last a bit longer and look just as quirky as it did before. I must point out that Dick isn't in the habit of wearing his cap while reading, but as I'd just gone to such trouble he thought he'd try it out. Perhaps a little bit of a tidy in library corner would be a good idea...
Now that the world has returned to work my bead deliveries have started arriving! Joy of joys, even after all this time I still get excited when I get a bead parcel, and this week I've had two. So there will be plenty of new stock appearing on the website over the next few weeks. By the way - the sale is still on, selected items only, but there are several of them!!
